Smart Second On Clinton-Massie As Defensive End

Clinton-Massie's Trent Smart was second on the team with 61 tackles during a 12-3 season last fall.

The junior defensive end, who also plays tight end, put pressure on opposing quarterbacks after tallying 3.5 sacks for a loss of -29 yards.

Smart is listed at 6-3, 220 pounds and was able to provide a presence defending the pass with a pair of deflections during 2011. He also returned a kick for 25 yards.
